  3. The major change in version 1.07 is support for TIFF- and BMP files.
  4. We need to make two remarks here:
  5.  
  6. a) PhotoGenetics can only read and write uncompressed true-color TIFFs.
  7.  
  8. b) When saving a file you control the file format by changing the file
  9.    extension, so e.g you need to change the file name to test.tif to save
  10.    an image in TIFF format.
  11.  
  12.   We know this is an unelegant way to do that and it's going to change
  13.   in one of the next versions.
